Online Scripture Study

The American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese is pleased to offer an Online Orthodox Scripture Study for the spiritual edification of those seeking to delve deeper into Holy and Sacred Scripture. 

During the study,  the text of the Holy Scripture is read and discussed  within the context of  the patristic mindset of the Church. Emphasis is placed on both the historical context of the sacred writings and their application to contemporary life.  

The class is presented in the form of a video podcast, with new one hour lessons  released on a weekly basis during the Academic Calendar year from September through May.  Audio Format is Also Available.

The Study is led by the Very Rev. Protopresbyter Kenneth Bachofsky, D. Min.  Professor of  Sacred Scripture at Christ the Saviour Orthodox Theological Seminary.  in Johnstown, PA
